How a matter moves through our practice
Initial Assessment
We review the situation and identify which service applies — work permit, visa counsel, or compliance briefing. Any overlap between categories is noted upfront.
Written Scope Agreement
A written document is issued confirming what is covered, what falls outside the engagement, and the fixed fee. Work begins only when this is agreed.
Document Preparation
Documents are compiled, reviewed against the current checklist, translated where required, and submitted. Updates are sent after each department interaction.
Completion & Calendar
The concluded matter is confirmed in writing. Permit and visa expiry dates are added to the Sangha renewal calendar with reminders set at 90, 60, and 30 days before expiry.
Service 01
Work Permit Application & Renewal
Considered preparation of work permit applications and renewals at the Department of Employment. Includes supporting documentation from both employer and applicant, BOI exemption coordination where applicable, and the renewal calendar that follows once the permit is issued. We discuss the limits a work permit places on which work can be performed and where, and coordinate updates when those limits change with role.
What this service includes
- Employer documentation review and preparation guidance
- Employee qualification and educational credential review
- Staffing ratio verification before submission
- BOI One Stop Service coordination for qualifying employers
- Permit renewal calendar with reminders
- Role change and location amendment coordination
Suited to companies hiring foreign employees and to individuals already at work in Thailand.
Service 02
Non-B Visa & SMART Visa Pathway Counsel
A measured walkthrough of the Non-Immigrant B visa, the SMART visa for qualifying technologists and investors, the Long-Term Resident visa work-rights category, and the documentation that supports each. We discuss the eligibility tests, the financial evidence often requested, and the practical realities of moving between visa categories as a career develops.
What this service covers
- Comparative review of Non-B, SMART, and LTR visa categories
- Eligibility assessment for SMART visa target industries
- Financial evidence requirements and preparation guidance
- Category transition planning for career stage changes
- Dependent visa coordination where applicable
- Written summary of recommended pathway and next steps
Suited to senior hires, founders, and experienced professionals choosing a visa category for the first time.
Service 03
90-Day Reporting & TM30 Compliance Briefing
A short briefing on the routine reporting obligations that most foreign workers and residents in Thailand encounter — the 90-day report, TM30 notification by hosts and landlords, and re-entry permits before international travel. Delivered as a written summary with calendar reminders for the visitor's records.
What this briefing delivers
- Step-by-step 90-day report procedure (online and in-person)
- TM30 host notification requirements explained
- Re-entry permit procedure before international travel
- Consequences of late or missed reports explained
- Written summary for personal records
- Calendar dates set from your current visa expiry
Suitable for all foreign workers and residents in Thailand on long-stay visas.

Standards Applied
Protocols across all three services
Document confidentiality
Passport copies, financial records, and corporate documents are handled under a strict access policy and are not retained beyond the conclusion of the matter.
Current regulatory reference
Department of Employment circulars and Immigration Bureau notices are monitored on an ongoing basis. Document requirements used in our services are current at the time of submission.
Written engagement confirmation
Every service begins with a written scope that is agreed before any documents are collected. The scope, fee, and what is excluded are all confirmed in writing.
Stage-by-stage communication
After each interaction with a government department, the client receives a written update confirming the current stage and any next steps required from their side.
Expiry and deadline management
Permit, visa, and reporting deadlines for all active clients are tracked centrally. Reminders are sent at 90, 60, and 30 days before each relevant deadline.
Bilingual handling
All Thai-language submissions and correspondence are prepared in-house. English summaries of official notices are provided to the client at each stage.
